Okay, I know I'm probably the last one to discover this--I was listening to an old podcast from June (NPR: Most emailed stories) and heard the story of these guys who were recreating the Bellagio fountain show using Diet coke and Mentos! It's so cool:
And for comparison, here's a shot I took of the Bellagio fountain when I was in Vegas this past July:
Which do you like better?

I have to say I like the Diet Coke display better. The gusto of the technicians is just as entertaining as the artful soda. It is also completely unique, never to be recreated in exactly the same way again -- whereas the Bellaggio is computer operated and the other 10,000 visitors to Vegas will see the same show later on that day...

My son's done this a couple of times in our driveway. He saw it on Mythbusters. He's already got the goggles, budding little mad scientist that he is, but he'd go crazy if I could get him one of those lab coats! Science can be so cool.
I think I have seen that, but they were doing it blindfolded. Tee hee!
LOVE this. Damon and I had some hearty laughs. THANKS! :D
(And OK GO rocks!!)
