Interestingly, there are more people in the U.S. named "Alvina" (9,122) than have the last name "Ling" (7,115).
And, as to be expected:
For some reason, I thought there was a possibility that someone in Texas was named Alvina Ling--I think she came up in a White Pages search. But maybe not. For now, I only know for sure of one other Alvina Ling, in Singapore.

I've heard someone say (and of course I'm too lazy to find it) that the results of that test are crossing the probability of the two actual names against each other (percentage of one and percentage of the other to get another percentage or something), rather than searching for names with both those first and last names, to get the result. So there very well may be another Alvina Ling.
There are plenty of other Stacy Whitmans, including a writer for Shape magazine, who may or may not be the same writer who wrote "Shacking Up: The Smart Girl's Guide to Living in Sin." And one is a guy. :)
Hey Alvina! It says that there are 0 other people with my first and last name too! We can be unique together. :)
I tagged you for a meme, although I know you are super busy so no worries if you don't have time. It's here: http://nowantdecaf.blogspot.com/2008/05/meme-of-fives.html
I'll be triplets with you -- though I have my doubts about the accuracy of these results, because it also says that there are 0 people with the last name Koponen.
There are very few, I know -- Finland is a small country! But there are at least my family and THEY didn't even get counted. Come to think of it, neither did I. So their database is missing at least 6 Koponens and probably hundreds (thousands more?).
I'm the only Rosina Meechan!
